However, they have a complex design that is not very easy to clean. All parts, including the blender pitcher and the blade have to be cleaned properly to ensure no old food particles stay inside. Here are some effective blender cleaning tips to get a squeaky clean blender and get rid of even the stickiest stains.

* Blending Water

The first step in cleaning a kitchen blender is to gather everything that is needed such as water, soap, and kitchen blender. Then one has to simply fill the blender pitcher with water at least till it is half full. Now in this water, one has to add a few drops of liquid dishwasher and close the pitcher with the help of its lid. After securing the lid, switch on the blender and let the water and soap solution blend properly inside the pitcher. This step is going to save so much of a person's time as they do not have to meticulously get into every corner of the blender pitcher. Any reminiscences of food will blend in the water mixture that can be thrown afterwards.

* Using Lemon Peels

Lemon is a great cleaning agent and also leaves a rejuvenating after smell. It is often used in dishwashers and floor cleaners as it can effectively kill germs and bacteria. A great way to remove stains and germs from a kitchen blender is to directly rub lemon peels on the blender. One must do this step for at least 10 to 15 minutes before washing it with cold water. It is a sustainable way of using kitchen waste for cleaning purposes.

* Cleaning Blender In A Dishwasher

In some cases, people might not have the time to clean the blender on their own. In such a case, one can simply put their kitchen blender in a dishwasher. Remember that one cannot put their motorised base into the dishwasher as it can be harmful. One must take care that in some cases, powerful dishwashers might scratch the glass surface of the blender pitcher. In this case, people must either adjust the intensity of the washer or the power mode of the dishwasher.

* Cleaning Of The Motor Part

Most people pay a lot of heed towards cleaning the blender pitcher and the blade. However, the motor part of the blender also accumulates a lot of dirt and spilt food over time. People also use sticky fingers to push the buttons which is why it is important to periodically clean the motor part as well. To clean the motor part, one has to simply take a damp cloth and gently wipe it on the buttons in the different corners of the motor parts as well as between the gaps. One must not use any kind of soap or dishwasher to clean the motor parts as it might create a fault in the wiring.

* Denture Cleaning

Cleaning the blade of a kitchen blender is a little troublesome task as the sharp blades can cut human skin within seconds. One has to be extremely attentive and should avoid sticking their fingers in between the blades while cleaning them. One can simply put the blades under the water by holding its bottom. Now with the help of a steel scrubber, gently scrub some dishwasher with soap and keep it under the water again to remove all the soap. Now with the help of a cloth, gently wipe the extra water and leave it to dry for 15 to 20 minutes. Avoid having direct skin contact with these blades.

* Baking Soda For Sticky Food

Sometimes food residues like minced meat or flour tend to be stuck in the corners of a blender pitcher and despite consistent effort, they do not come out. In this case, one of the most appropriate tricks that one can use is to make a mixture of water and baking soda. One has to take four parts of water and one part of baking soda to make this mixture. Remember that the water must be lukewarm. After filling the blender pitcher till its one-third quantity, this mixture of baking soda and water must be poured inside. This will not only help in taking out the stuck food material but also remove the yellowness of the blender pitcher and help in restoring its shine.
