* Chingri Malai Curry

Chingri Malai Curry is an iconic prawn dish from Bengal that is prepared by immersing some fleshy prawns into a thick and flavourful sauce made from coconut milk. This is quite a mainstream dish in Bengal and it is prepared by first marinating prawns with a mixture of turmeric powder, salt, and some other spices. 

Simultaneously some freshly chopped onions and ground into the form of a paste. Some fresh coconut milk is also extracted and added to a pan. Alongside, prawns are cooked in a pan with some chilli tempering. In this mixture, the onion paste, ginger, garlic paste, coconut milk, and other spices are also added. An extra tip for someone who wants to make this dish at home is to add a little bit of yoghurt in the coconut milk for a better flavour.

* Royyala Vepudu

Royally Vepudu is a very Royal and opulent kind of prawn dish that is made by marinating some fresh prawns in a blend of robust spices. This dish takes less than 40 minutes to prepare at home and begins by first marinating prawns in a mixture of ginger, garlic paste, lemon juice, and spices. In the end, the person should add a little bit of salt as per taste. Now these marinated prawns have to be added to the water and boiled. Simultaneously a person must heat some oil in a pan and add sliced onions, green chillies and curry leaves in the mixture. One should sauté all these things in the pan and then add the marinated prawns. Everything should be mixed properly and then served with some boiled white rice.

* Goan Style Prawns

The culture of cooking prawns in Goa is quite old. There are a lot of prawn-based recipes that are famous in Goa. One of the most popular methods of preparing prawns is to mix them in a very rich and flavourful curry. This dish takes less than 45 minutes to be prepared at home but is extremely delectable. The first step is to marinate the prawns for 15 minutes by adding some fine spices and shredded coconut to make a thick paste. Now the marinated prawns have to be kept for 10 to 15 minutes before being sautéed with some oil. Now, one should take a pan and add some onions, green chillies, tomatoes, and other fresh vegetables. Everything should be cooked very nicely to make a beautiful spicy paste. In the end, one must add the cooked prawns and a little bit of coconut milk.

* Kerala Prawn Stew

A Kerala-style prawn curry is creamy, thick, and extremely rich. If one wants to make this dish at home then the first step is to marinate the prawns with some black pepper, salt, and turmeric. The next step is to chop some boiled potatoes into cubes and then shallow fry them in coconut oil. In this mixture, one has to add some green chillies, curry, leaves, garlic, ginger, and red chillies. Add a little bit of coconut milk. When the gravy starts thickening, add the prawns. All of this mixture should be combined and cooked on low flame with some lemon juice as a final touch.

* Prawn Bharata

A prawn bharata is a rather unconventional recipe, but it is quite delectable. The best part about this dish is that it takes less than half an hour to prepare. To make this dish at home, one has to take onions, green chillies, prawns, and some other vegetables if they want to add. The vegetables have to be chopped into very small pieces and then marinated with the prawns along with a little bit of salt and turmeric powder. In a pan simultaneously, one must sauté some onions, green chillies, and ginger garlic. After the onions turn translucent, add the prawns and mash them with the rest of the vegetables with the help of this spoon. Take some more marinated prawns and convert them into a paste in a food processor with green chillies, onions, and coriander leaves.
