Oh, how I love the current festive vibe around. Diwali is just a week away, markets are all decked up with lights, diyas and rangoli and we are on a shopping spree for new clothes, new home décor and so much more. What I’m always very excited about around Diwali is the food- the extravagant way how Indians celebrate festivals, food is an indispensable part of it. And Diwali being one of the biggest festivals of India gives us immense variety to nosh upon. This year the festival of lights will be celebrated on 4th November, 2021 and I’m all excited about what’s on the menu of the next dinner party.
But let’s be honest, planning a party or even deciding what to prepare on festivities could be a daunting task. But who said you have to do it all at home? With multiple amazing restaurants, delivery places and takeaways in town offering festive offers on scrumptious delicacies, one need not worry about it at all. But there are some places that never gets old, in fact keep getting better. Especially around festivals. I remember having biryani from the popular Behrouz Biryani once at a an office Diwali party. Besides the aromatic flavour and perfect blend of spices, what impressed me was the budget-friendly priced and combos it offered. Same is the case with McDonalds.
