One of our favorite meatball meals has become a simple sandwich:meatballs smothered in spaghetti sauce and provolone cheese and sandwiched between a lightly toasted hoagie roll. It's easy, comforting, healthy and family-friendly.
28 ounce Can crushed tomatoes, including the juices
2 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Parsley
2 teaspoon Sugar, to taste
2 teaspoon Crushed oregano
1 teaspoon Basil
1 teaspoon Crushed red pepper, optional
dash Black pepper
dash Salt, to taste
6 ounce 1 -can tomato paste
0.25 cup Water, optional, depending on the desired consistency
1 pound Ground turkey {or chicken
1 tablespoon Chopped Parsley
3 tablespoon Finely chopped spinach
0.75 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Salt
0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
1 teaspoon Paprika
0.5 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
0.75 teaspoon Fennel seeds
0.25 cup Feta Cheese Crumbles
4 Hoagie Rolls
4 Slices of provolone cheese
0.5 cup Sliced pepperoncini peppers
