STEP 1. place deep vessel on medium to high heat and add 2 tsp oil, 1tbsp minced garlic and saute for 15 seconds til the aroma of garlic comes through.

STEP 1. then cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes. fluff the pilaf with a spoon.
