• Water

• As required Salt, To Taste
• 3 tablespoon Olive oil, butter, lard or bacon drippings
• 0.5 cup Chopped Onion
• 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
• 0.5 teaspoon Ground cumin, optional
• 0.1200000000000001 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper, Optional
• 3 cup Cooked pinto or black beans, warmed, see notes for canned
• 2 Lime wedges
