1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
2 teaspoon Sugar
0.25 teaspoon White Pepper
1 small ice cube
The Rice Base
0.75 cup broken or regular jasmine rice
4 cup 5 water
The Assembly
0.75 cup good pork stock
1 cup rice base
Ground pork, as much as you’d like
1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
0.25 teaspoon Salt
1 egg at room temperature, optional

Directions : Jok Recipe

STEP 1.For the pork method all ingredients in an exceeding kitchen appliance until it resembles a paste.

STEP 2.For the rice base bring water to a boil, add rice, and stir sometimes.

STEP 3.Once the rice starts to thicken, stir perpetually till the rice is thick and softened to the specified consistency.

STEP 4.For the soft-boiled egg place the egg in an exceeding bowl and slowly pour off-the-boil water over it till it’s fully submerged.

STEP 5.Let the egg sit for ten minutes, then directly transfer it into cold water to prevent the cookery.

STEP 6.To assemble bring pork stock to a boil and add the bottom pork in bite-sized chunks. Season the stock with soy and salt.

STEP 7.When the pork is halfway done, add the rice base and stir to interrupt up lumps. Once the pork is completed and therefore the rice is well mixed, take away from heat.

STEP 8.To serve crack the soft coddled egg into the serving bowl and so pour within the jok. Prime with white pepper, ginger, and inexperienced onions/cilantro.
