Cooking Directions

• STEP 1.In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger, garlic, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
• STEP 2.Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
• STEP 3.In a skillet, heat oil and sauté onions until golden brown.
• STEP 4.Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
• STEP 5.Pour in water and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
• STEP 6.Stir in cream and garam masala. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
• STEP 7.Serve hot with rice or naan bread.

Storage and Serving

• Store any leftover chicken dahiwala in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
• Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave before serving.
