Directions : Buñuelos Recipe

STEP 1.1 - add flour, baking powder, salt and 1 tsp sugar in a food processor.

STEP 2.2 - combine it well and add shortening to it.

STEP 3.3 - gradually add water to it and form a smooth dough.

STEP 4.4 - cover the dough and set aside, allow it to rest for 30 minutes.

STEP 5.5 - mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.

STEP 6.6 - make small balls out of the dough and flatten it to make thin circles.

STEP 7.1 - heat some oil in a pan and fry the bunuelos until they turn golden brown.

STEP 8.2 - coat the bunuelos with sugar cinnamon mix and your bunuelos are ready to be served.
