As they say, “Good Food, Good Mood. Always with Slurrp.” Once again, a fantastic event took place on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, at Novotel Kolkata Hotels & Residences, where the third edition of Gastronomic Divas took place. Presented by EIILM in association with 91.9 Friends FM, and media partnered by Slurrp, the event served as a prestigious tribute to the women driving the F&B industry. Curated by the visionary duo Luna Chatterjee and Anusreea Paul, the ceremony was supported by esteemed partners including Jeevan Rekha Foods, La Fiesta Catering Services, and Kreamz.

A significant highlight this year was the collaboration with Slurrp, a thriving network of 800k food enthusiasts. To honour the "behind-the-scenes" magicians of the F&B industry, the Service Award was presented to Shampa Sarkar of Hotel Sonar Bangla. Shampa, who rose from Assistant Reservation Manager to Reservation Manager in just two years, epitomises dedication. The award was presented by Slurrp community moderators and members: Sushmita Chakraborty, Angelica Cardozo Thapa, and Poulomi Chakraborty.

As the community members, Poulomi and Sushmita shared, "As a part of Slurrp Community, I am truly honoured to be here at Gastronomic Divas today. Slurrp has been our medium to spread our culinary knowledge as well as the traditions all over the country and ahead. We found many others who love food. At home, it's mostly like cooking for your family or friends. But with Slurrp community, your recipe reaches out to so many people who love it, appreciate it and add input to make it more delicious."

Angelica reflected how hard it has been for her to step into the world of baking. She further stated, "I love baking. I've loved it forever. People judged, and my passion was questioned as well. But with Slurrp community strength, I got a voice, a platform where I can get in touch with millions of bakers and share knowledge. At Gastronomic Divas 3.0, I felt the same vibe with so many food lovers all around and honoured to present the Service Award here. Heartfelt Thanks to Slurrp for building this huge community where no foodie feels alone."

How could an event for foodies conclude without good food? There were plenty of delicious food items to choose from. From snacking items, including Sandwiches, stuffed buns, Gandhoraj fish fingers, grilled chicken, to lip-smacking desserts like baked rasogolla, choco bomb, red velvet pastries, a lot of options were there.

Gastronomic Divas 3.0 successfully illuminated the multifaceted roles women play in the F&B industry. Cooking is often considered another chore you perform at home. But it’s a lifeline, and that’s what the event once again proved. By partnering with Slurrp, the event also took a step to unite the link between home cooks and industry professionals.
