SEASON 5 of Emily in Paris travels beyond Paris, but one thing remains constant: delicious food. Rather than breaking the season down by plot, we chose to follow the meals. What you’re about to read is a re-imagined food diary — a scroll through Emily’s imaginary Instagram feed — where each post marks a city, a craving and a moment in her ever-evolving life abroad. Think of it as a culinary map, told in captions.
📍ROME // @emilycooper
“Rooftop breakfast with a side of power plays.”
Zuma’s rooftop at Palazzo Fendi: sun, saffron mood lighting, and corporate breakfast vibes. Sylvie says business, I say brioche AND ambition. 💼🥐
“Truffle hunting because why not?”
Thank you Muratori family for the most rustic, earth-to-table experience. Antonia cooked homemade truffle risotto that might change the meaning of life. 🍄✨
“Espresso shots followed by espresso cocktails.”
At La Posta Vecchia we invented the Bavazzatini (ok plot made us drink it). Mindy sang “Espresso” and we all forgot our problems for 37 minutes. ☕️🍸
“Business lunch = secret garden vibes.”
Hotel de Russie’s garden is like Paris in bloom but Roman — very perfume pitch. 🍷🌿
“Rooftop roofing heartbreak.”
Settimo: views to die for, love drama to kill for. Two girlfriends walk out. One salad stays. 😬🌆
“Goodbye Rome.”
Team drinks at Gigi Rigolatto Roma. If sadness had a flavour it would be a perfectly chilled rosé. 🍷🇮🇹

📍VENICE // @emilycooper
“Totally not Rome… but OK.”
Osteria Alla Frasca fooled us all (location drama), but the courtyard vibes were 10/10. 🍝❤️
“Gelato solves everything.”
Bar Ai Miracoli: sweet, cold and immediately necessary post-tourist move. 🍦🇮🇹
“Spritz and repeats.”
Gio’s at St. Regis — Aperol Spritz with views I definitely took 37 photos of. 😍🥂
“Tiramisu heart eyes.”
Romantic dinner at Moro. I thought there was a ring in the dessert. There was not. But the tiramisu was flawless. 🍰💔

📍PARIS // @emilycooper
“Daily bread — as in carbs that love me back.”
Boulangerie Moderne: croissant in hand, joy in heart, toast is overrated. 🥐💕
“Michelin makes me nervous.”
L’Esprit de Gigi — Gabriel is Michelin now and I’m very impressed and slightly intimidated by vegetables. 🍽️⭐
“American food, French city.”
Brass & Bourbon because sometimes you need a burger to feel grounded. 🍔🇫🇷
“Absinthe adventure.”
Au Rendez-Vous des Amis: bohemia, history, what is this drink? 🤷♀️🍸
“Maxim’s madness.”
Absinthe party at Maxim’s — opulence and Art Nouveau and me, blinking at all the gold. ✨🍾
“Train station moment.”
Le Train Bleu: classic brasserie bite before a very cinematic goodbye. 🍷🚆
“Coffee with consequences.”
Les Deux Magots — Sylvie + mom vibes + important adulting talk over drinks. ☕️🍷
“Canal-side spritzies.”
Brasserie de l’Hôtel du Nord with the couples. Canal breeze, cocktail ease. 🍹🌉
P.S.
Paris might be famous for its croissants, Rome for its truffles and Venice for its spritzes… but Season 5 taught me one thing — if you document it well enough, it’s all content. 📸🧠✨
Oui, I ate that. And yes, I posted. 🍽️💕
