It’s that time of the year when all bars across the world are raising a toast to the iconic red Negroni cocktail and drinking for a good cause. It’s World Negroni Week! A global celebration to show appreciation for this iconic cocktail. Traditionally made with gin, vermouth and Campari, Negroni is a bright red classic cocktail, infused with intense flavors, Negroni was first created around 1919 in Florence, Italy, at Caffe Rivoire. It all started when Count Camillo Negroni used to ask for his favourite drink which was the Americano (equal parts sweet vermouth, Campari and soda water) stronger and once just to try something else the bartender replaced soda water with gin, and the Negroni was born!

This World Negroni Week, Beam Suntory is raising a toast to this popular drink by bringing its portfolio of two premium gins - the quintessential London Dry Gin - Sipsmith and its Japanese Craft Gin - Roku.
