Penne in Makhani Sauce | Slurrp Presents Try This Out

Penne in Makhani Sauce is an Italian-origin pasta recipe with an Indian flavour base. The pasta is tossed in a creamy, buttery, spicy, and delicious sauce. Ingredients:

  • Boiling Water 
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil 
  • Salt to Taste 
  • 2 tbsp Butter 
  • 1/4 cup Onions 
  • 1 tbsp Ginger 
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic 
  • 1 tbsp Fennel Seeds 
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 
  • 6-7 Cashew Nuts 
  • 1 cup Tomatoes 
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala 
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder 
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 
  • Salt, to taste 
  • Water, as required 
  • 1 cup Penne 
  • 2 tbsp Butter 
  • 1/2 cup Capsicum 
  • 1/2 cup boiled Corn 
  • Boiled Pasta 
  • 1/2 tsp Kasuri Methi Powder 
  • 2 tbsp Cream 
  • 1/2 cup Cheese 
  • Salt to Taste 
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves -Red Chillies

Method:

  • Boil the water with salt and olive oil. Add the pasta for cooking.
  • In another pan, add butter, onions, ginger, garlic, fennel seeds, cashew nuts, tomatoes, garam masala, kashmiri red chilli powder, salt, and water. Cover and cook till the mix looks cooked and smooth.
  • Let the mix cool down. Add to mixer grinder for a smooth paste.
  • Meanwhile, remove the pasta from the boiling water.
  • In another pan, add butter, capsicum, and corn. Give it a mix. Add the makhani sauce to the pan. Add the pasta as well. Give it a mix.
  • Add some kasuri methi powder, fresh cream, and cheese. Give it a nice stir and serve hot.
