In this year's list of “Top 100 places to eat and drink in the U.S. and Canada” by Yelp, two Indian restaurants have achieved their places in the top 30 of the list.
Claiming its place on the 19th spot, the “hidden gem” Little India is shining bright with their “flavourful and fresh” offerings. This restaurant gained the 12th spot on Yelp’s Top 100 Southwest Restaurants in 2023, and this year it earned its name among the best in the country. Located in Utah, this eatery is well-recognized for its signature Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. The Yelp article also highlights the hand-painted murals decorating the walls and lively Indian Background music creating a perfect vibe to enjoy comfortable food. The article also mentioned the most popular and photographed dishes include Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Mango Chicken, Chicken Coconut Korma, Onion Naan, and Mango Lassi.
On the 29th spot, the Indian Nepalese-Himalayan Restaurant, Ocean Indian Cuisine in San Francisco, has been recognized for its comforting dishes. Described by some Yelp reviewers as “Life-changing”, this restaurant has gained a reputation for serving exceptionally good Indian food. On their menu, you will find delectable traditional dishes along with Chinese fusions. Bringing decades of culinary expertise, this restaurant specialises in Momo special dishes which are Nepalese steamed dumplings filled with delectable fillings. Notable dishes like Paneer Chowmein, Everest Chicken Momo, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala have garnered a lot of praise from guests.

Furthermore, Korean fusion restaurants such as Broken Mouth and Arario Midtown also shined among the top features in the list, While the Sun Belt states, including Arizona and Florida, contributed 30% to this year's rankings.
The top 5 eateries that secured the highest ranks were Tumerico in Arizona, Menya Rui in Missouri, Sunny Side Kitchen in California, GS Cafe and Ethiopian Cuisine in California and Fratellino in Florida which stood out for their exceptional food, impeccable service, and beautiful ambience.
