Yum Tuapu is the Thai version of the Chinese noodle dish Yong Tau Foo is slightly sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. Made with handful of ingredients like chicken, shrimp, beans, shreded coconut, roasted peanuts, shallodts, eggs, lemon juice, garlic, thai chillies and some flavourful spices and sauces this Tgai recipe is a must try and can be prepared easily in no time.

Ingredients for Yum Tuapu Recipe

  • 175 gram wing beans or green beans
  • 1/2 chicken breast
  • 6 8 shrimp
  • 3 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon roasted peanuts, finely crushed
  • 1/2 head shallots, thinly sliced
  • 3 Egg
  • 0.33 cup Mint leaves
  • As required Dressing
  • 3 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1.50 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Thai Chili Paste
  • 3 tablespoon coconut milk
  • 1 clove garlic, grated or minced
  • 2 3 Thai chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar

Directions: Yum Tuapu Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Add some salt to water and then allow it to boil at medium-high flame, once the water starts boiling add the chicken breast to it and cook for another 7 minutes so that it becomes tender and gets cooked thoroughly.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Once your chicken gets cooked, take it out of the water with the help of tongs and add in shrimp to the same pot of boiling water and cook until the shrimp becomes nice and tender.

  • STEP 1.In a separate pot boil the eggs for eight minutes and once done take them out in a bowl of cold water and submerge them for a minute to make the peeling process easier.

  • STEP 1.Cook the beans by boiling them into a pot of hot salty water till they are nice and tender. Once cooked drain out the water and cool down the cooked beans by adding them to some cold water and chop them,

step 5

  • STEP 1.Take a large bowl and add in all your seasoning ingredients and mix them well. Add beans, chicken, shrimp, shallots, cooked coconut, peanuts, and mint to this seasoning mix and combine everything well.
