Rinse the rice and let it soak in water for 30mins.
Drain the water.
Chop the onion and ginger
Take a frying pan to pour 4-5 tbsp cooking oil and heat the oil at medium flame.
Then add the chopped garlic saute them and the fragrant enhance. Then add the chopped onions and fry them till translucent.
Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and mix it well with the onions and ginger.
Then add 2tbsp dried shredded shrimp and the roasted sesame seeds. Salt to taste and saute them well. Let them fry for the next 5mins
Take out the mixture and drain the extra oil with the help of a sieve.
Put the oil in the same pan and then add the sticky rice.
