A crunchy,quick dish prepared from boiled yams dipped in egg mixture,coated with flour and then deep fried.

- 160 gram All purpose flour
- 1 No.s Yam
- 3 No.s Egg
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- As required Olive oil
- 1/2 No.s Maggi cube
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 tablespoon Black pepper
- As required Salt

How to Make Yamarita(dundun Oniyeri) Recipe
step 1
STEP 01
Cut each end of the yam . Cut the yam into inch thick pieces.

STEP 01
Peel off the yam. In a bowl crack in eggs, maggi cubes, black pepper and curry powder.

STEP 01
Whisk the egg mixture and keep it aside . Take a bowl add flour ,salt mix it and keep it aside.

STEP 01
In a cooking pot add yam pieces followed by salt and sugar. Add water into the pot to cover the yam completely.

STEP 01
Boil it for 5-6 mins with the lid on. Once boiled take it out and keep it aside.

STEP 01
Take yam pieces, dip it in egg mixture and coat it with the flour. Again dip it in the egg mixture and place it on a plate.

STEP 01
Repeat the same process with each yam pieces . Add enough oil in a cooking pot & heat it.
step 8
STEP 01
Place in the yams ,flip and fry until golden brown.
