  • 50 gram Yam, Peeled And Cubed
  • 1/5 tablespoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/10 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1/20 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1/10 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/20 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/5 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 0.40 tablespoon Oil
  • As required Salt To Taste

  • STEP 1.Peel and cut the yam into small cubes.
  • STEP 2.Boil the yam cubes in salted water until they are tender.
  • STEP 3.Drain the water and let the yam cubes cool.
  • STEP 4.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 5.Add the boiled yam cubes and sauté for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add spices, vinegar, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 7.Transfer the pickle to a sterilized jar and let it cool completely before sealing.
