Ingredients for Xio Sau Rieng Recipe

  • 2 cup sticky rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • As required a few drops of durian extract or yellow food coloring
  • 230 gram durian flesh without seeds
  • 60 gram coconut powder
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar
  • As required roasted sesame seeds and shredded coconut

Directions: Xio Sau Rieng Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash two cups of sticky rice and soak in water for a minimum of one hour or higher nightlong.
  • STEP 2.Drain well and add coconut powder, salt, and many drops of durian extract. Toss well. Combine durian flesh with sugar and mash into a paste. Steam for 20-25 minutes,
  • STEP 3.Fluff the hard-baked sticky rice with chopsticks and add the durian paste. Steam for an additional five minutes. Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with some roast herbaceous plant and cut young coconut.
