It also contains vital vitamins such as beta-carotene (a precursor of vitamin A), thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2) and vitamin C. Simply we can call "BEL" a magical "BELL" of good health

Ingredients for Wood Apple Squash/ Bel ka sharbat Recipe

  • 0.33 Pieces ripe bael fruit medium size
  • 8.33 gm Jaggery Sugar (as required)
  • 0.11 cup Milk
  • 0.08 cup Curd
  • 1/25 tsp black salt
  • A Pinch Nutmeg powder (optional)

Directions: Wood Apple Squash/ Bel Ka Sharbat Recipe

  • STEP 1.Break open the bael fruit with a hard object ,scoop out the pulp also scoop out the pulp from the shell as it tastes more sweet .
  • STEP 2.Transfer the pulp into a large container.
  • STEP 3.Mash the pulp untill it softens add little water to make the process easier. Then using a sieve strain the pulp as much as possible .Discard all the seeds and fibers.
  • STEP 4.Now add in your preferred sweetner and black salt and give a good mix.
  • STEP 5.Add in Curd and milk also chilled water if needed or it appears thick .
  • STEP 6.Finally add few icecubes ina glass pour in the prepared sharbat ,add a dash of Nutmeg powder on top and garnish with some pistachio powder (this step is optional)
