  • STEP 1.Soak the whole urad dal in water for 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and pressure cook the dal until it is soft and cooked through.

  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add cooked dal, grated coconut, and spices. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
