Ingredients for White Pumpkin Curry.. Recipe

  • 125 gm White pumpkin
  • 1/4 tsp For Marination...a)
  • 0.13 tsp b)
  • 1/4 tsp c)
  • 1/4 tsp d)
  • 1/4 tsp e)
  • 1/2 tsp f)
  • 1/2 tbsp G)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Kalonji seeds
  • 1/2 As Required Small onion sliced
  • 1/4 tsp Grated garlic
  • 0.13 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1/2 g Tomato roughly chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.13 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 0.13 tsp sugar ( optional )

Directions: White Pumpkin Curry.. Recipe

  • STEP 1.Peel the pumpkin , dice it . Wash it , keep aside.
  • STEP 2.Take a bowl , add pumpkin & all the given ingredients of marination , mix it well , keep aside.
  • STEP 3.Take a wok , add oil , heat it .
  • STEP 4.Add kalonji seeds , let it splutter .
  • STEP 5.In goes onion stir fry it until light brown .
  • STEP 6.Now add grated ginger garlic , stir fry it until rawness is released .
  • STEP 7.In goes tomato & salt , stir it for a minute .
  • STEP 8.Now add marinated pumpkin , stir fry it for a minute .
  • STEP 9.Add 1/2 cup water , mix it well , give a boil .
  • STEP 10.Add in sugar & garam masala powder , give a stir .
  • STEP 11.Lower the flame , cover it with the lid , cook it until almost cooked .
  • STEP 12.Gravy should be a lil saucy . Can stir in between .
  • STEP 13.Turn off the flame , open the lid after 5 minutes .
  • STEP 14.Take out in a serving bowl , garnish it with chopped dhania patta & slitted green chilli .
  • STEP 15.Can be had along with Roti or Paratha ...
