  • STEP 1.In a bowl, soak urad dal and fenugreek seeds for 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.In another bowl, soak wheat flour for 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 3.Grind the soaked urad dal and fenugreek seeds into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 4.Add the soaked wheat flour to the urad dal batter and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Cover the batter and let it ferment overnight.
  • STEP 6.Heat a tawa or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter onto it.
  • STEP 7.Spread the batter in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 8.Drizzle oil or ghee around the edges and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 9.Serve the dosa hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
