Ingredients for Walnut cranberry lemon rice Recipe

  • 0.67 Cup cooked rice
  • 1.33 Tbsp oil
  • 0.33 Tsp mustard seed
  • 0.33 Tsp urad daal
  • 0.33 Tsp chana daal
  • 0.67 Pieces spring curry leaves
  • 0.33 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1.33 Pieces chopped green chillies
  • 0.08 Cup Walnut
  • 1.33 Tbsp cranberry
  • 0.67 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.67 Tsp salt

Directions: Walnut Cranberry Lemon Rice Recipe

  • STEP 1.Now take a saucepan and add oil.
  • STEP 2.Add mustard seeds, black gram and yellow split lentils and saute for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 3.As soon as the mustard seeds start spluttering, add green chillies, ginger pieces, curry leaves and saute for 1 minute
  • STEP 4.Add walnut and cranberry saute as well for 1 more minute
  • STEP 5.Now add turmeric and salt.
  • STEP 6.Add cooked rice and mix freshly squeezed lemon juice and put a lid on the saucepan.
  • STEP 7.Cook for another few minutes and serve with pickle or chutney.
