Ingredients for Veracruz Style Fish Recipe

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 onion finely diced
  • 2 garlic clove finely diced
  • 6 Roma Tomatoes Diced
  • 4 pickle jalapeno finely diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup olives sliced
  • 2 tablespoon capers drained
  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • As required Salt and pepper

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven 350f degrees
  • STEP 2.Heat the olive oil in a large pan, add onions and garlic to this and then stir it for a minute. Add tomatoes, jalapeno,oregano,bay leaf and capers
  • STEP 3.Sim for 2 mins and the sauce fill be ready
  • STEP 4.In a plate season the fish with salt and pepper. Add the sauce and bake for 15 minutes and enjoy
