  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • as needed A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/4 cup Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Roasted Fenugreek Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and curry leaves. Fry until the seeds splutter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Add tamarind pulp and water. Bring it to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pan, roast fenugreek seeds until they turn golden brown. Grind them into a fine powder.
  • STEP 6.Add the fenugreek powder to the kulambu and mix well. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with rice or dosa.
