STEP 1.Set a pan on the stove on medium heat with 2 tbsp cooking oil.

STEP 1.Add ½ tsp mustard seeds. When mustard seeds splutter add in ½ tsp cumin seeds, 1 sprig of curry leaves and2 finely chopped onions.

STEP 1.Saute the ingredients till the onion turns pale brown.

STEP 1.Into the pan add 3 cups of finely chopped ladies finger and mix well.

STEP 1.Turn off the flame to low heat and cook for around 20 minutes in total.

STEP 1.In between continue stirring and add in masala like ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp chilli powder.

STEP 1.Also add ¼ cup of grated coconut and ¼ tsp of cumin seeds and stir well.

STEP 1.Sprinkle a pinch of salt for final touch. Stir well till the ingredients are well cooked.

STEP 1.Turn off the flame and serve as a side dish with meals.
