A delicious crunchy and healthy stir fry of deep fried tofu tossed with carrots and peppers flavored with ginger garlic and soy sauce. In a small bowl mix together soy sauce , sesame oil, water, brown sugar and cornstarch. Now the tofu sauce mixture in a pan. It i usually made in a Chinese wok in heat with minimum oil. Ginger, garlic and other spices can be used to make this fry.

Ingredients for Vegetables And Tofu Stir Fry Recipe

  • 300 gram Tofu
  • 1 No.s Green pepper
  • 1 No.s Carrot
  • 1/4 No.s Cabbage
  • 1 No.s Spring onion
  • 3 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • As required Salt

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a wok, heat 1 cup of oil for deep frying, add 300 gm tofu cut into bite size pieces and fry for 5 minutes till light brown.

  • STEP 1.Use a slotted spoon to remove and drain the fried tofu. Keep aside.

step 3

  • STEP 1.In another wok heat 2 tbsp oil, add 3 cloves chopped garlic, 1 cm chopped ginger, 1 chopped spring onion and fry for a few seconds.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add 1 thinly sliced carrot , 1 thinly sliced green pepper, ¼ cabbage cut into bite size pieces and stir fry for 2 minutes.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Add the fried tofu, 2 tbsp soy sauce, salt to taste and stir fry for 2 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Turn off the heat, transfer onto a dish and serve.
