  • 1/4 cup Mixed Vegetables
  • 0.13 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 Cardamom Pods
  • 0.13 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 0.13 Bay Leaf
  • 0.13 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, and bay leaf.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add the vegetables and cook for a few minutes. Then add the soaked rice and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add water, salt, and garam masala. Cover and cook until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with raita or yogurt.

  • You can use any vegetables of your choice like bell peppers, cauliflower, or potatoes.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of saffron soaked in warm milk.
