Ingredients for Vegetable Lollipop Recipe

  • 0.17 Garlic Cloves
  • 0.17 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 0.17 Tsp crushed chilli flakes
  • 0.08 tablespoon Sugar
  • 0.08 teaspoon White Vinegar
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 0.08 teaspoon Soya sauce
  • 1/25 cup Hot water
  • 0.08 teaspoon Corn Flour
  • 1/25 cup Cabbage
  • 1/25 Carrot
  • 0.17 Potato
  • 0.08 tablespoon Spring onion
  • 1/4 tablespoon Corn Flour
  • 1/4 tablespoon Rice flour
  • 0.08 tablespoon Semolina
  • As required Salt
  • 0.08 Green chilli
  • 0.08 pinch Pepper powder
  • As required Oil For Frying
  • As required Breadcrumbs

Directions: Vegetable Lollipop Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a pan. Add 2 clove chopped garlic. Saute it.
  • STEP 2.Add 2tsp crushed chilli flakes. Saute it in low flame for a while, until there is no raw smell. Add 3tbsp tomato ketchup, 1tbsp soya sauce/1 tsp dark soya sauce. Mix well. Add 1 tsp white vinegar and 1tbsp sugar. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Add ½ cut hot water. Mix well. Prepare a solution of corn flour with 1tsp corn flour and 3tbsp water. Add the solution to the sauce. Add salt to taste.Mix well. Allow it to boil. Turn off the flame.
  • STEP 4.Take boiled potato in a bowl and mash it. Add ½ carrot(grated), ½ cup cabbage, 1tbsp chopped spring onion, 1chopped green chilli and a pinch of pepper powder. Mix well.
  • STEP 5. Add 3tbsp corn flour, 2tbsp rice flour, 1tbsp semolina, salt to taste and crushed ginger-garlic(optional). Knead it with your hands to prepare the dough.
  • STEP 6.Dip your hand in water and then make small balls with the dough.
  • STEP 7.Take breadcrumbs in a plate, roll the balls in breadcrumbs.
  • STEP 8.Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls in batches. Cook well. When the balls become golden and start to float on the oil, take it out of the oil.
  • STEP 9.Insert a toothpick in each ball. Vegetable lollipop is ready to be served with sauce.
