Ingredients for Vegetable Kung Pao Recipe

  • 1/4 red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 carrot, cut on a bias in thin discs
  • 2.50-3.75 mushrooms, halved or quartered if large
  • 1/4 small head broccoli, separate into florets. Peel the larger stems and cut them into discs
  • 1/2 red or green bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 stick celery, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon corn starch mixed with 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2-3/4 inch red chillies, broken into 1 s
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 0.06 cup peanuts, toasted lightly on a skillet and then coarsely chopped
  • 1-1.25 scallions or green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Mix in a bowl: vegetable stock or water
  • 0.06 As required cup soy sauce or more
  • 1/2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon hot chilli sauce like sriracha
  • 1/2-3/4 green chillies
