  • 1/4 cup Yellow Moong Dal
  • 1 Carrot, Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Green Peas
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Beans

  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak rice and lentils for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and sauté cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped vegetables, soaked rice, lentils, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Add water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
  • STEP 5.Mash the khichdi slightly and serve warm.
