  • STEP 1.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add grated coconut, chopped vegetables, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Add water and cook the vegetables until tender.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pan, bring water to a boil and add salt.
  • STEP 6.Slowly add rice flour and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  • STEP 7.Cook the rice flour mixture until it forms a smooth dough.
  • STEP 8.Take a small portion of the dough and shape it into a small disc.
  • STEP 9.Place a spoonful of the vegetable filling in the center and seal the edges to form a dumpling.
  • STEP 10.Repeat the process to make more dumplings.
  • STEP 11.Steam the dumplings in a steamer for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
