Delicious burger with cooked rice. It is an easy and quick healthy burger made with mixed veggie patties and cheese slice.This recipe is easy to prepare at home. It can be served during any time, for breakfast, lunch ,dinner or during tea time. The crispy vegetable patty is made with mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. The patty is tossed in breadcrumbs to give it that crispiness. The burger is loaded with vegetables like lettuce and cheese.

  • 1/5 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1/10 cup Grated Carrot
  • 0.40 No.s Green chilli
  • 1/20 teaspoon Pepper Powder

Preparation Directions

  • STEP 1.For the basic preparation, you need burger buns and the fresh vegetables.
  • STEP 2.Prepare the patty mixture by mashing potatoes with the rest of the chopped veggies and spices.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Take 1 cup cooked rice in a bowl, add finely chopped onion, 1tsp chopped ginger, 2tbsp grated mozzarella cheese, 2 chopped green chilies, ½ cup grated carrot, 1/4tsp pepper powder. Mix well.
  • STEP 2.Beat an egg and add it to the mixture. Add salt to taste and 3-5tsp bread crumbs. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Grease a plate and your hand with oil. Make balls of the mixture and shape it to patties and place it on the plate.
  • STEP 4.Refrigerate it for 30 mins. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties in low-medium flame. When both sides become golden brown, take it out of the oil.
  • STEP 5.Take a pair of buns and spread 1tbsp mayonnaise on one piece. Place lettuce on the mayonnaise, place one slice of cheese on the lettuce, then tomato slices and cucumber slices, then tomato ketchup, then patties, then tomato and cucumber slices.
  • STEP 6.Spread 1 tsp mayonnaise on the other piece, then lettuce. Close it or place it on the other half. vegetable burger is ready to be served.

Serving Method

  • STEP 1.You can serve your vegetable burgers with a side of french fries, coleslaw and some tomato ketchup.
