Ingredients for Veg upma Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Aashirvaad Rawa (semolina)
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/4 nos onion finely chopped
  • 0.06 cup Green peas (Matar)
  • 1/2 tbsp roasted peanuts
  • As required Salt to taste (use Aashirvaad Namak)
  • 1/2 cups Water

Directions: Veg Upma Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and cumin seeds let them splutter
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onion and sauté till soft Add green peas and peanuts and cook for a minute
  • STEP 3.Add water and Aashirvaad Namak bring it to a boil Slowly add Aashirvaad Rawa while stirring continuously to avoid lumps
  • STEP 4.Cook on low flame till water is absorbed and the upma becomes soft and fluffy Serve hot with coconut chutney or pickle
