Directions: Veg Tahari Recipe

  • STEP 1.[5/19, 8:03 PM] Shipra Mehrotra: firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp ghee and saute spices.
  • STEP 2.now add 1 onion and saute till onions turn golden.
  • STEP 3.further, add 2 tsp raisins, 1 chilli and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste. saute well.
  • STEP 4.[5/19, 8:03 PM] Shipra Mehrotra: additionally, add vegetables and 1 tomato. saute well.
  • STEP 5.further, add ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder, ¼ tsp garam masala and 1 tsp salt. saute for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 6.now keeping the flame on low add 2 tbsp curd and mix well.
  • STEP 7.now add 1 cup basmati rice and 2½ cup water.
  • STEP 8.cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • STEP 9.finally, veg tahari is ready to serve with raita or kachumber.
