  • 3 No.s Potatoes boiled peeled
  • 2 cup Poha washed
  • 1/4 cup Carrot grated
  • 1/4 cup Paneer crumbled
  • As required Chopped coriander leaves A few
  • 2 No.s Green chillies chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Balck pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • As required Salt
  • 1 cup Oil For Frying
  • As required Ingredients for coating
  • 3 BOWL
  • 1/4 cup All purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • As required Bread crumbs

Directions: Veg Poha Cutlet Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.-1)in a large mixing bowl add 3 boiled peeled potatoes, 2 cups washed poha (flattened rice), 1/4 cup grated carrot, ¼ crumbled paneer, chopped coriander leaves as desired, 2 chopped green chillies, ¼ tsp balck pepper powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp chaat masala powder, 1 tsp lemon juice, salt to taste.

  • STEP 2.-2)mix all the ingredients together well. Grease fingers and palms, take small portions of the mixture and make lemon sized balls.

  • STEP 3.-3)make a smooth mixture of ¼ cup all purpose flour (maida) and ¼ cup water.

  • STEP 4.-4)spread bread crumbs in a bowl.

  • STEP 5.-5)dip the cutlet into the maida batter, drain off the excess and then roll it in breadcrumbs till evenly coated.5vplace the breaded cutlets in a hot pan. Fry for a few seconds. Drizzle a little oil over the cutlets and flip them over. Press gently to ensure the cutlets cook through. Fry till evenly golden brown on both sides.
