  • 2 Chopped brinjal big size
  • 1 Chopped onion medium size
  • 2 No.s Green chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • As required Curry leaves a few
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/4 cup Water

Directions: Vazhuthananga Mezhukupuratti Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.heat oil in a pan. Add 2 chopped brinjal, 1 chopped onion, 2 green chilies split in half, ½ tsp turmeric powder, a few curry leaves and a pinch of salt.

step 2

  • STEP 1.saute the ingredients for 3-4 minutes.

step 3

  • STEP 1.pour in ¼ cup of water and steam covered for 5 minutes on medium flame.

step 4

  • STEP 1.stir-cook until the ingredients become soft, tender and dry.

step 5

  • STEP 1.turn off the flame completely and transfer to a serving plate.
