Ingredients for varan Recipe

  • As required Aashirvaad Toor Dal ½ cup
  • As required Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
  • As required Aashirvaad Salt as per taste
  • 2.50 cups Water –
  • As required Aashirvaad Rai (mustard seeds) ½ tsp
  • 1/2 tbsp Ghee

Directions: Varan Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and pressure cook Aashirvaad Toor Dal with turmeric, Aashirvaad Salt and water till soft
  • STEP 2.Mash lightly
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee in small pan add Aashirvaad Rai let it splutter
  • STEP 4.Pour this tempering over cooked dal mix well Simmer 2 minutes and switch off
  • STEP 5.serve hot with boiled rice.
