  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 0.06 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.06 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • pinch A Pinch Of Asafoetida
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 4.Add valor papdi and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.In a separate bowl, mix together chickpea flour, fenugreek leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, oil, and salt. Shape the mixture into small dumplings.
  • STEP 6.Add the dumplings to the curry and cook until they are cooked through.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

  • You can add a pinch of sugar to balance the flavors.
