Ingredients for Vaghareli Sabji Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Rice
  • 1/2 cup Toor dal
  • 1 No.s Potato
  • As required a few Curry leaves
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 0.33 cup Peanuts
  • 2 No.s Green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 3 No.s Dry chillies
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ghee
  • As required Curd  for serving

Directions: Vaghareli Sabji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take half a cup of rice and half cup of toor dal in a bowl, wash well.
  • STEP 2.Take a potato and dice it finely. Add water to it. Add peas, peanuts, and green chilies.

  • STEP 1.Take another pan and add a spoon of oil and add mustard seeds in it, when they crack, dry red chilies, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Add the vegetables in it and cook while covering.
  • STEP 3.On low flame add salt, mix well add half spoon ghee . Cook well.
  • STEP 4. Now add the rice and pulses from earlier. And cook for 4 whistles.
  • STEP 5.Serve with some curd and chutney.
