  • 0.33 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 0.33 Green Chillies, Slit
  • 0.17 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.17 teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 0.08 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.08 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/25 cup Chopped Coriander Leaves

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak lentils for a few hours and grind them into a coarse paste.
  • STEP 2.Shape the lentil mixture into small fritters and deep fry until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, sauté onions, tomatoes, and spices to make the curry base.
  • STEP 4.Add the fried vadas to the curry and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Serve the Vada Curry with idli, dosa, or rice.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure the lentil fritters are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
  • You can adjust the spice level of the curry by adding more or less chilli powder.

Storage and Serving
