Ingredients for Vaangi Bhat Recipe

  • 4 No.s Brinjal
  • 4 No.s Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • As required Few coriander leaves
  • As required Few Curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoon Gram dal
  • 2.50 tablespoon Urad dal
  • 1/4 tablespoon Fenugreek seeds
  • 2 No.s Cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Cardamom
  • 4 No.s Cloves
  • 4 No.s Red chilli
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ajwain
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 2 Dry red chilli
  • 1 No.s Bay leaf
  • 50 gram Roasted groundnut
  • 1/4 glass Tamarind water
  • 1.50 tablespoon Sambar powder
  • 2 Ponni rice bowl
  • 2 glass Water

Directions: Vaangi Bhat Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Slice the brinjal and soak it into water

step 2

  • STEP 2.Chop onion,tomato and coriander leaves.

step 4

  • STEP 3.1.in a cooking pot add coriander seeds,1 tbsp gram dal and 2 tbsp urad dal.

step 5

  • STEP 4.2.then add fenugreek seeds, cinnamon sticks,cardamom,cloves and dried red chilli.

step 6

  • STEP 5.3.now add ajwain,curry leaves and roast well for 5 mins.

step 7

  • STEP 6.4.now grind the roasted ingredients.

  • STEP 7.5.add & heat 3 tbsp oil in a cooking pot.

  • STEP 8.6.now add mustard,½ tbsp urad dal,1 tbsp gram

step 10

  • STEP 9.Dal,bay leaf and 2 dried chilli.

  • STEP 10.7.add curry leaves, roasted groundnut and fry for a min.

step 12

  • STEP 11.8.add sliced onions and cook for 2 mins.

step 13

  • STEP 12.9.then add sliced brinjal and chopped tomatoes.

step 14

  • STEP 13.10.add 1 tbsp salt and cook for 3 mins on medium flame.

step 15

  • STEP 14.11.add tamarind water,sambar powder and cook for a min.

step 16

  • STEP 15.12.add grinded vangi bhat powder 3 tbsp and cook for a minute.

step 17

  • STEP 16.13.now add ponni rice and mix well.

step 18

  • STEP 17.14.sprinkle coriander leaves
