Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak the field beans overnight and pressure cook until tender.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and chopped onions.
  • STEP 3.Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked field beans, salt, and water. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.

  • You can add a pinch of asafoetida (hing) for additional flavor.
  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference.
