  • 1/2 cup Sprouted Legumes
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • as needed A Few Curry Leaves

  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Green Chilies, Slit
  • 1 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • pinch A Pinch Of Asafoetida

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Rinse and soak the sprouted legumes for a few hours.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, and tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add the soaked sprouted legumes and water. Cover and cook until the legumes are tender.
  • STEP 7.In a separate pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and asafoetida. Pour this tempering over the cooked legumes.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with pav or rice.

  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference.
  • You can add grated coconut for a richer flavor.
