  • 1/2 Boiled Potatoes, Mashed

  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Take leftover upma and mash it well to remove any lumps.
  • STEP 2.Add boiled and mashed potatoes to the upma and mix well.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, and salt to taste. Mix everything together.
  • STEP 4.Shape the mixture into small cutlets or patties.
  • STEP 5.Coat each cutlet with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cutlets until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  • STEP 7.Serve the upma cutlets hot with ketchup or chutney.
