  • 2 pound Chicken Wings
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 0.67 can Coca cola
  • 1 teaspoon Dark soy sauce
  • 0.67 teaspoon Salt

  • STEP 1.1 fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add 2 lb washed chicken wings to the water and boil for 1 minute.

  • STEP 2.2 take the chicken wings out of the water and drain them well. Pat them dry with a kitchen paper towel. Ensure that the wings are dry before cooking.

step 3

  • STEP 3.1 heat a pan at medium heat and add1 tsp oil, 1 tbsp chopped ginger, 1 tbsp chopped garlic and stir till fragrant.

  • STEP 4.2 add the chicken wings to the pan. Arrange them so that all the pieces touch the hot surface of the pan. Sear them for 1 minute on each side.

  • STEP 5.3 add ⅔ tsp salt and pour in ⅔ can of coca cola, 1 tsp dark soy sauce.

step 6

  • STEP 6.4 continue to cook the chicken wings till the liquid thickens and becomes the consistency of a syrup. Turn the chicken wings over every few minutes to ensure that they do not burn on one side.

step 7

  • STEP 7.5 ensure that all the pieces are well coated with the coca cola syrup.once cooked turn off the heat.
