Turrón Meringue In Red Wine Recipe

In my opinion, this is a fun dessert-the perfect combination of sweet syrup and the bubbling acidity of red wine. Its one of my favorite recipes and reminds me a lot of my neighbor elosa, who very kindly brightened our cold december afternoons with this unique, intense and delicious flavor. She taught me how to make this traditional chilean dessert. It usually accompanies main courses during christmas or new years dinner, which makes it perfect for family gatherings and celebrations. I like it and think its a convenient recipe, as i can make use of the last drop of red wine. Since it is meringue, this desserts texture is soft and sweet, immersed in the wines enchanting aroma.
