This is a fabulous dish which can be served as a main course, or taken cold on a picnic. I have been making this dish for years and my kids and grand-kids always ask me to make it at christmas time. I cant remember where i first got the original recipe from, but i have tweaked it many times and it is much changed and somewhat better, i think. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends do.
