  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cup Water
  • As required Clarified Butter
  • As required Oil

  • 1.40 kilogram chicken breast
  • 4 No.s garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Cilantro
  • 5 tablespoon curry powder
  • 4 sprig thymes
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • As required Salt
  • 1.50 cup Chicken Broth
  • As required Vegetable Broth
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1.30 kilogram chopped potatoes
  • As required Pepper
  • 800 gram chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon clarified butter

Directions: Trindadian Roti Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. in a bowl take flour, baking powder, salt and gradually add water to knead it into a soft dough

  • STEP 1. make small balls out of the dough, cover them with a cotton cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.

  • STEP 1.apply clarified butter on the dough balls and let rest for another 30 minutes.

  • STEP 1. in a bowl take chicken breast, chopped vegetables and season them with spices.

  • STEP 1. cover it with a cling film and marinate for an hour.

  • STEP 1.roll the dough into small circles.

step 7

  • STEP 1. heat some oil in a pan and cook the vegetables and fish in it.

  • STEP 1.season with the spices and top with cilantro.

  • STEP 1. heat oil in a pan and cook chopped onion, garlic, curry powder, green onion, coconut milk.

step 10

  • STEP 1. add marinated chicken, pepper chicken broth to it

step 11

  • STEP 1. simmer this for 30 minutes.

step 12

  • STEP 1. heat oil in a pan add onion, garlic, curry powder, veggie broth, chopped potatoes, green onions, parsley, chickpeas, pepper, clarified butter.

  • STEP 1. grease the pan with some oil and cook your roti.
